Ciel Senior Living is excited to announce that, as of February 1, 2025, it has taken on the management of three HearthStone communities located in Florida: HearthStone at Nona Lakes, HearthStone at Leesburg, and HearthStone at Wildwood. This addition, owned by majority principals J. Bennett Grocock and David P. Babinski of Stonegate Development Company, represents a significant advancement in Ciel’s community services and oversight.
The Leesburg and Wildwood communities consist of 130 well-appointed units designed for both assisted living and memory care, while Nona Lakes features 94 assisted living and memory care units. With these additions, Ciel Senior Living expands its operating portfolio, which now encompasses 15 managed communities and over 1,700 senior living units. Ciel is proud of its growing workforce, which includes more than 1,000 dedicated team members across nine states, all committed to delivering compassionate care and exceptional service.
Managing partners Edward Burnett and Ron Jeanneault expressed their enthusiasm in a joint statement, saying, “The integration of these new communities into our management portfolio represents an exciting opportunity for growth and enhanced service delivery. Our team is dedicated to preserving the quality and integrity of each community, ensuring that residents feel valued and supported. We look forward to continuing our mission of providing exceptional living experiences for all residents. By bringing these three beautiful Florida communities into the Ciel family, we can serve the greater Orlando market, Leesburg and Wildwood, located on the outskirts of the prominent and sought-after Villages community. As we continue to expand our management platform, we are committed to our mission and core values, investing in our team members, and delivering exceptional services.”
The HearthStone communities will benefit from a proprietary dementia care program coined “Connections by Ciel,” which launched in September 2023. The program trains and equips memory care team members to provide specialized care for Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia-related conditions. Ciel also provides comprehensive Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) training for associates who work in a memory care environment. Furthermore, Ciel continues to strengthen our premier partnerships with key hospice, therapy, and pharmacy providers within each Ciel community’s respective market.
Ciel Senior Living combines innovative techniques to optimize the resident experience and maximize business performance. “Our goal is to elevate the overall experience for the customer, promote connection between the seniors we serve, deliver an engaging lifestyle, and help our residents live their best lives. We are proud of the teams delivering this experience every day and cannot wait to bring our purpose to Florida,” stated Alexis Martini, President and Chief Operating Officer.
